Lillian Zeltser

Born with perfect pitch in former USSR Lillian Zeltser studied classical music, theory and composition since 4 years of age. Her first musical “Cinderella” was written (libretto & music) at the age of nine and staged using cast of children from her neighbourhood.

In 1979 Lillian migrated to Australia where she studied at the Melbourne Conservatorium, ran successful music school and worked in different genre with various musical groups and artists of classical, contemporary and folk music.

Her professional interest for film and theatre became even stronger when one of the leading Australian composers, impressed by her ability to create unique expressive melodies in a very short time, offered her to sell her music to him outright.

In 2007 Lillian attended Filmmaking school at The University of Melbourne and subsequently shot her first 30 minutes pilot TV series “Aphro”, where she acted as Director, Writer and Composer. Since that time Lillian had written multiple musicals (original music and libretto), screen and theatrical plays, which are ready to be produced. Her catchy soundtracks pinpoint specific story frame, and take the whole movie experience to another level.

Currently Lillian is working on the feature anthology “Expect Unexpected”, with “The Painter” being the first of the nine novels as a Writer, Director and Executive Producer.

Known as Aphrodisiacs Expert, Lillian continue hunting for mysterious aphrodisiacs around the globe exploring their traditional usage and recipes, and armed with the science she either supports or busts time-tested myths and legends.
