Actor Paul Ogola is an award-winning actor and a two time nominated at the international Kalasha film and Tv awards. He recently was selected as Juror for international Emmy awards 2022.
In the showmax’s & Canal + inaugural Kenyan original hit series “Crime and Justice”, Paul plays “Prosecutor Sokoro”, a role that drives the legal part of the crime and legal drama show. Sokoro as a man who believes in the law and justice has to on a daily basis, deal with rogue individuals and systems that go against the law or even moral principles, his work is to apply the law to the best of his knowledge.
Also, Paul has co-starred in two Netflix original series: “Sense 8” directed by Lana Wachowski( the matrix 1-4) Seasons 1 + 2, as "Jela", “Sacred Games season 2, directed by Sir Anurag Kashyap, as Erico and also featured in “Blood Fest” directed by Owen Egerton a film set in Austin, Texas.
Paul co-starred in the Kenyan entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards “Nairobi Half Life”, and co-starred in the FIPRESCI award-winning film Kati Kati, and starred in the African Union Foundation award-winning film Stories Of Our Lives (2014). Paul has also played key roles in other award-winning short films such as Sibini, Hearthshot, Veve, Wazi FM, Tuko Macho, and Lusala among others.
Paul has written, directed, edited and produced two short films: "Kisasi", and "Hurt Heart". Paul’s knowledge and experience working in film, both locally in Kenya, as well as internationally, make him an invaluable Kenyan actor and artist.
