While Dan considers himself first and foremost a writer, he is also an actor, director, producer.... and shit! He's a father, too. Damn it. I mean, Dan is first and foremost A FATHER, then the other stuff. A father who does film stuff. Yeah, that's it!
To close out the year 2021, Dan optioned his sci-fi/horror/romantic comedy VERY LITTLE ROOM to director Ryan Sage!
His first film he wrote, CHEMICAL PEEL, debuted at the Telluride Horror Show in 2013 and then distributed by Lions Gate in 2014. Dan also appeared as a creepy paramedic, marking his film acting debut.
He wrote for both of comedian Ben Gleib's TELETHON OF AMERICA productions, including material for Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Olivia Munn, Sophia Bush, Ike Barinholtz (among many others).
He appeared in a supporting role in 2018's SNAKE OUTTA COMPTON, and then went on to write and co-star in 2020's DRAGON SOLDIERS, which was also released by Lions Gate.
For 2021, look for the release of Dan's directorial debut in the short film THE MONSTER as well as his first leading acting role in the indie dramedy VELOCITY currently in post production.
