Kelly Matthews

Hi! I'm Kelly- a born and raised Texan who was bit by the acting bug at a young age. After years of community theatre, acting classes, and top notch elementary school productions, I decided to pursue my acting at a more serious level and studied abroad with the Royal Shakespeare Company and received my BFA in Acting from Texas State University. Upon receiving my degree, I moved to Austin, Texas with my best friend Susan (who happens to be a cat), and got involved with the production company The Robot Planet. Since then I've been touring with the company, performing as the Foley Artist on the international tour of The Intergalactic Nemesis Trilogy. In August of 2015, I made the move to Los Angeles and am currently living in the big city working as an actress, model, and mermaid. Among many hobbies, I received my American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, and my Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification. I'm engaged to the wonderful commercial and film composer Harlan Hodges, can sew a regular cotton pillow case, can recite almost all of the prepositions to the tune of Yankee Doodle, and admit to getting most of my bad ideas from Pinterest...
