About Erdinc

Erdinç Metin was born in Adana in 1965.
Graduated from Ege University - Radio/Television
Intermediate level English.

In 2012 he attended to workshop in YAPIMLAB of Zeynep Özbatur Atakan.

He organizes workshops “Scriptwriting Through Script Knots and Sailors Knots”©

In 2014 he was one of the co-founder of Izmir Film & Television Producers Association

He was a team member of Izmir International Short Film Festival between 2014 - 2016

In 2016 he made two films as producer.

One of them a feature documentary film “Börklüce Mustafa – All Together” with Yusuf Saygı and the other one is the short film “About Taste of Cherry – a.ka. Li Ser Tehma Gelyazé” with Ulaş Bıçak that was one of the finalists for “YAPIMLAB @ !f: A Creative Production Workshop & Pitching Platform”

In 2017 About Taste of Cherry was included official selection of Antalya Film Forum and listed as finalist in ARFF // Around Film Festival-Barcelona and European Cinematography Awards - Warsaw.

He is also representative of short film Wild by Volkan Budak and Oralet short film by Rıdvan A. Can on international platforms.

In 2018 he started three new projects as producer: Short film Descartes Rules of Sweep by Ömer İnce and short film Coin Toss by Ridvan A. Can and feature film The Shortest Colour in My Crayon Box by Ridvan A. Can.

Coin Toss selected for ATCP by GAIFF 2018 in Yerevan. And selected for ShorTS Pitching Training 2018 in Trieste.
