Terry Filipowicz

Terry Filipowicz likes to jokingly say she's building a media EMPIRE but she's also serious. A writer and producer, she owns a small media company where she's adept at spotting and reporting trends in media creation and consumption. She's worked in television news, film, and entertainment television. Most recently she was vice president and later interim president of a publishing company based in Tucson, Arizona until leaving to accept a fulltime faculty position at a college where she is creating a new digital media program and teaching digital arts, communication, technical writing, and journalism. She also provides media consulting plus communication, writing, and public relations services to those involved in the creative industries. Terry presents regularly at media or education conferences and holds regular workshops and events.
