About Alicia
Director/Screenwriter, The Artist (formerly known as) Alicia Hope’s Haitian family name is Sweetpea. She identifies as a reconnecting Native American (Latino) storyteller with a black-indigenous person of color’s (BIPOC) perspective. Born Alicia Nichols and raised in the Greater San Francisco - Bay Area. Nichols is investigating the significant social impact of identity formation in safeguarding the freedom of expression AND informing youth voices.
In addition, Nichols engaged in industry-specific, social impact, activism, and professional development courses led by 160over90, Endeavor Content, IMG, Miss Universe Organization, and WME executives and clients. Between 2010-2021 Nichols earned income as a professional model/journeyman actor, represented by SAG-Aftra franchised agencies, under the stage name Alicia Hope Alexander. Paid modeling credits include working alongside Wenchi for a French H&M designer.
