About Joan

Joan Tankersley, a Nashville based talent, has been an innovative leader in entertainment for three decades. Her career has spanned the evolution of the CCM music industry as an award winning art director and creative director, a multi-camera live event director, production designer for film, a broadcast concert media specialist, in addition to a partnership in a production company, Vividmix, specializing in luxury markets and Fortune 500 companies.
Her early creative achievements are marked by a Dove Award and multiple nominations as a Creative Director. As a cultural curator she has approached her work through the lens of a brand strategist, regardless of genre or platform, searching for the unique value of each production.
A 3 year role as a multi-camera live event director and creative content producer in one of the country’s largest mega churches, forged a love for big teams and big productions. Working with broadcast concert productions as a consultant and as a brand strategist for the annual NFL Super Bowl Gospel Concert with BET earned her the opportunity to achieve “highest social media engagement outside of the Super Bowl during a 24 hour period.” with an all volunteer team.
Her work as a Wardrobe Supervisor for CBN International and as a Production Designer for Lifetime Network, rounded out a 360 view of a producer. Currently creating, developing and marketing scripted/non-scripted television and film as founder of Five Key Collective, her properties focus on multiple genres. As a Creative Producer, she has received contracts for her broadcast developments, Project Dumbo/The Big Ask/French Flip from The Dick Clark Company, The RWC, and Discovery Studios and has a Nashville based incubator for episodic developments. As a board member of Tennessee Women in Film and Media, her passion is to create impacting media productions that inspire, entertain and engage audiences.

Unique traits: I’ve created a content incubator in Nashville, TN for developing film and epsodic. It’s unique in the marketplace and I’m pumped about it.
