About April

April Marie Campion is an actress, photographer and award-wining director, producer, and screenwriter from San Diego, California.

Campion graduated from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She was the first undergraduate in the school's history to receive an endowment, and with it produced the film "Transposition" (2009), on time and under budget. The film went on to win more than 25 awards, including the national finalist title for the 2009 Student Academy Awards, the El Capitan Award, Accolade Award of Merit for Quality and Story, Redemptive Film Award and the 2009 Regent Showcase Selection.

Campion wrote, produced and directed the Saint Mary's 5K Promo, which won the 2009 Student Emmy Blue Ribbon Award, ADDY Gold Award and the 2009 Otis Film Showcase Spotlight; while the women's inner beauty film she produced, "So Incredibly Beautiful" (2010), was the headliner for the Hillsong Australia Art and Film Festival. She also wrote, produced and directed the Sci-Fi thriller, "Amoriph," (2016) which won the Platinum Remi Awards' Best Sci-Fi Short Film and Best Short Film Awards.

Campion was a Runner PA for the Tom Hanks feature film, "Captain Phillips," (2013) and has worked as a Field Producer for several Fortune 500 Companies in Advertising and Marketing, including Google, Apple, and Volkswagen. She was the Production Manager for the Indie Film, "Art Show Bingo," (2017) starring James Maslow from "Big Time Rush" (2009), and produced the short film "Girls on the Run" (2014), detailing the benefits of the all-girls enrichment program, which received the Award of Excellence: Children and Family Programming for the Accolade Awards.

As an actress she was cast in a small role in the Hulu Series, "Into the Dark" (2018), and played recurring background characters in four episodes of the HBO hit series, "WestWorld," Season 2, where she learned basic stage combat and grappling.
