If you’re looking for a Red Epic owner/operator/cinematographer who can take an idea and run with it—then turn it into a quality film, I’m a good guy to have around. I can lead, I can follow, but most importantly, I love all of it and I have passion for all of it. And I know that in the end there are NO RULES. I’m from the Stanley Kubrick school: ask a million questions, and seek a million answers, open your mind, and do it over and over until you get it perfect.

I was the DP and supporting actor for “In Search of a Midnight Kiss,” which won the John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award for best feature film under $500,000. I was the DP and editor for the feature film “9 Full Moons,” which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival and is available on iTunes. I was also the DP and editor for the feature film “Carlos Spills the Beans,” which premiered at the Raindance Film Festival and is available on Amazon Prime. I also shoot and edit “Preface to Being Jaded,” a popular web series featured on Funny or Die. I was also recently the DP for the extra week of shooting for “The Loner,” co-star- ring Julian Sands, which premiered to great reviews at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. I’m also currently directing and editing my first feature film, “Rage,” about two talented actresses that get into a violent road rage incident. On and off set I am a collaborator who is capable of dealing with any personality type, and I can also contribute to any part of the production process. On several independent projects, I have: —worked with the directors and producers in pre-production on script revisions, casting, budgets, and locations —shot the film as a DP —edited the film with the director —helped with the final stages of post-production including both sound mixing and color correction —and finally, helped with the promotion of the film at various film festivals and with the actual release of the film.

I am a white dude, but I love working with female crews and female directors, and have done it many times. And without getting into politics, I do want to say that I'm a big believer in diversity and inclusiveness. Though I'm a white dude, I feel like I have a responsibility to be part of the diversity revolution in film, too, and I'm very proud of that. I had an especially rewarding experience shooting a short film with a female Iranian director named Ameneh Moghaddam, who was very passionate about making her first short film, ''Farewell My Bird,'' which she had to make in America due to the censorship issues ongoing in Iran.
