As a director, Doug Mallette has had his short films screened at dozens of festivals including Dragon*Con, HorrorFest, the Miami International Film Festival, and the Nashville Film Festival. As a writer, his screenplay JUNK placed 2nd in Stage32’s 5th Annual Search For New Blood Screenwriting Contest. In 2014, Mallette directed his first feature film, WORM, released by Synapse Films, one of the country’s longest running indie film distributors. Mallette currently resides in Los Angeles, working for MARVEL Studios and continuing to create content that his mother hates.
