I'm about to do a pilot for A&E in 2 weeks and have other jobs on the agenda... I'm always open minded and if the situation is right I can work lower budget.. so if you have a need for anything drop me a message and if I can't help I usually know someone who can.. Thanks
Hey Mr. Mitchell... You in LA or up in BC?
I'm in Baton Rouge La....How can I help you sir
Hey Terry... Stuck in Los Angeles; hope to be down in (your) LA this next year. Hope you're keeping busy! Best regards!
Had a little break for the past 4 weeks , which was nice..About to start on some pre- prod work this week .. Good to meet you, let's keep in touch.
So prop maker does exist as a title. Anyone want to explain how its different than prop master? I didn't check master, as finding and keeping track of props is someone else's job, I just build them, chasing down materials is enough hassle for me.

The film features Dennis Hof and Cami Parker of the hit HBO Series Cathouse. I also feature polygamists from Utah, and the film will feature Joe Darger, the gentleman and his 3 wives whom the story and hit HBO Series Big Love was created after. I'm looking for film crew, editors and camera people, ideally Los Angeles based, but not required, who are willing to travel to those states, also to Trinidad, Colorado the sex change capital of the West, for 1-2 weeks in the next year. The gig is unpaid, so obviously you gotta love the project, and I have hopes to get funded and you can get paid on the back end.
Spent time working out of Pahrump filming in the desert.... some interesting lifestyles out there for sure.
Oh you can check out the blog at TemplesandBrothels.com and Facebook.com/SexandReligion.. thanks! and Nice to meet everyone :-)
Big fan of documentaries period. I'll have to check yours out.
We should start booking some interviews for October, yeah?
This will be a fascinating film!
Hey guys! I'm seeking possible shooting locations for a western horror movie. Needs to be in Louisiana if possible. I'm seeking a couple of towns with the 1880's look. Don't want to have to build the sets if we can help it.
@J.Brian - My friend lives there and it just sounded like a great place that you should check out, but I agree I'm sure there are tons of different places in Louisiana. Good luck with finding something. Love to hear what you find :)
I'm in Lake Charles Louisiana. It's in Southwest Louisiana . Let me know more details of what your looking for. Marty
We filmed at a location around Amite last year..could be a possibility for you..old western setting..
Whilst looking for locations for my own project, I came across this site. Maybe it has something for you http://www.legendsofamerica.com/ghosttowns.html...

Or my personal favorite in Old Metairie, The Longue Vue House and Gardens. Just 20 minutes from downtown NO (equipped with air-conditioning). Don't know if you are filming in the summertime. But those plantation homes have NO AIR-CONDITIONING! Longue Vue wasn't built in the 1880s, but it sure looks like it. Good luck!
