About Bing

Award winning Writer/Director/Producer, Bing Bailey was Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and began making films while living in New York City in 2001. As a computer engineer Bing was at first drawn to the technical aspects of filmmaking. Working in the World Trade Center, Bing was fortune enough to be running late on September 11th 2001 and was therefore spared. The experience inspired him to put his passion for filmmaking into third gear. Completing his first feature in 2005, Bing continued to make short films and music videos until 2009, when he wrote the story for Portrait of a Zombie. The film took him back to his roots in working class Dublin and allowed him to explore his love of horror and create his most personal film to date.
