About Ashton

Story telling, light and laughter inspire me.

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa I have extended family spread across the globe, and have had the opportunity to travel to many far away places.

My interest in cinematography stems from growing up in our family-owned cafe and bakery. It was one of Vermont's first culturally diverse restaurants and it exposed and trained my eye for detail and craft.

My background in the kitchen and traveling around the world are experiences that translate through my work and behind the camera.

Some clients I have worked with are: Coca Cola, Verizon, Converse, Ecko Unltd., CBC, Gourmet Magazine, The Boston Beer Company, Keurig and The History Channel.

I'm currently living in Manhattan, New York and looking to collaborate with others on compelling projects. I'm available for travel worldwide.
