I've written almost a hundred films of all kinds: from action films with Kirk Douglas or Roger Moore to artmovies such as Santa Sangre by Alejandro Jodorowsky in official selection at Cannes, re-presented among the Cannes Classics and considered by the Empire one of the 500 best films of all time...
When I write a film I am like a tailor who adapts his idea so that can be perfectly "worn" by the director who will make it and by the actors who will play it.
For this reason, when I succeed I prefer to make myself the ideas I am particularly fond of, like the thriller I shot with John Savage who, in fact, accepted a very reduced payment just because he fell in love with the character...
My last film is a metaphysical thriller called De Serpentis Munere (The Serpent's Gift) just ready.
You can see for yourself my passion for cinema watching my channel https://www.youtube.com/RobertoLeoniFilm where I enjoy expressing my opinions both on outgoing films and on the classics ... (even if I speak in Italian the videos are all English subtitled).
Hoping that this presentation of mine interested you, I hope to stay in touch with you!
Greetings from Rome

P.S. This is my last review about Alien that tomorrow turns 40! http://bit.ly/ALIEN__

Expand commentI personally think that we are a bit out from that, but yes, I think that AI can also create. Sort of scary that we actually come to Terminator times, but alas we are here. My grandchildren will probably never drive a car, go to a checker to check out, and clean their house themselves. They'll have robots doing jobs. I know it's scary, huh! However, I think at the end of the day, that it is going to be hard for them to trust the computer to write their scripts. It's such an expensive genre to put your trust in AI. They'll need writers. Cheers and blessings, Diana

Expand commentThere are three things science i.e. technology i.e. robots will never be able to explain or replicate: God, love, and art. These things go so much deeper than basic programming, and cannot be explained by simple math or basic technological logic. So no, I don't believe that robots will be able to replace screenwriters. Look at all the repetitive, check-the-box movies we have now - seems like Hollywood is running robotically already - and I think we all know what audiences think of repetitive, check-the-box movies!

It will be like when we search on google ,many a times we don't get the thing we search for but just one word from what we have typed is picked up as a keyword and suggestions are given accordingly.
