About Michael

I am a Los Angeles native based in Europe with a worldview enabling me to bridge between producers filming abroad and the top-tier production support they count on to execute projects worldwide. Clients range from producers at major studios to leading production houses. Here's what I do:
ENABLER: Field requests from producers of mostly financed projects aiming to film abroad. Review production specifications (scripts, storyboards, treatments, location breakdowns, qualification for incentives and more) to identify locations in 50+ territories worldwide that can deliver the most quality “in-frame” for a project's available budget. Connect producers - at no added cost - with strategically positioned production partners experienced providing comprehensive, below-the-line film support in the optimal location in more than 100 countries.
MANAGEMENT: Vet production service partners. Build and maintain a network of like-minded production service companies working together to provide a one-stop shop for below-the-line services. Foster industry-wide collaboration with trade organizations like LMGI (Location Managers Guild International) and AFCI (Association of Film Commissioners International).
OUTREACH: Promote Production Service Network at one-to-one meetings, as guest speaker at industry gatherings, at festivals, in industry media and online through regular website, social media and blog posts.

PSN is a Camino Media initiative launched in March 2014. That's the day job. I am also developing a few film and TV series projects focusing on lesser known but fascinating stories of Spanish history in North America.
