I graduated from The Academy of Art University with an MFA in Motion Picture and Television Production and an emphasis in Editing and Producing. Two weeks later I was living in Los Angeles County where I gained experience working in Hollywood interning for both American Idol as well as The Young and the Restless, working as a Head Page for CBS Television Studios where I coordinated with production to best designate positions for, lead and manage teams of up to 17 Pages, and was an Audience Coordinator for several dozen game shows, alternative/reality shows, and multi-cam comedy series. One of the highlights of my time at CBS was the six months I spent as an interim Second Assistant to former CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler. My time working under the President, getting to know the Senior Vice Presidents, their assistants, other staff members and meeting A-List Celebrities was an incredible opportunity and learning experience.
While working in television was amazing, my true passion has always been for filmmaking, so I left television to continue freelancing for independent productions as a Producer, Line Producer, Production Manager, Editor and Colorist. I have worked on over twenty independent productions. I am looking forward to continuing my filmmaking career and expanding into documentary filmmaking as I continue to travel the world and immerse myself in other cultures.
