Limitato Horror ⋄ Thriller Lia is a 28-year-old seamstress living in Venice, taking care of her grandmother. Arabella is suffering from a rare mental disease, and before Lia is prepared, her grandmother falls extremely ill and is hospitalized. As Lia becomes more frightened of losing her only family member, she begins to hear noises in her small, old apartment. Her psychologist, Dr. Lombardi, suggests Lia is either pre-diagnosed with this same disease as Arabella, or it could be something else, something unexplainable. While Lia's world spirals out of control, she becomes a danger to those around her, and is therefore institutionalized. Dr. Lombardi's soft spot for Lia compels him to visit her often - but in reality, it is Arabella's coma-mind that creates this alter ego of her younger self, having lived a fantasy life with her present self. Will Arabella ever escape her own mind and wake up? ©. 2011. This project also requires full funding.

The moral center and compass of the town is Olivia Lockhart, the bicycle riding, scarf wearing municipal court judge who grew up in the town. Regardless of her being the focus for many in town, Olivia's life has not been issue-free, she long ago having gone through a divorce from her physician ex-husband, the dissolution of their marriage largely due to the accidental drowning death of their son, Jordan, when he was thirteen, that incident from which they as a couple could not recover. Also affected was Jordan's twin sister, Justine, now a young woman, who has been struggling to find her place in life ever since. Much like the town is being pulled in different directions, such as by cutthroat developer Warren Saget, Olivia is ... Written by Huggo

Editorial department The series is set 97 years after a devastating nuclear war wiped out almost all life on Earth. The only known survivors are the residents of twelve space stations in Earth's orbit prior to the war. The space stations banded together to form a single massive station named "The Ark", where about 2,400 people live. Resources are scarce and all crimes no matter their nature or severity are punishable by death ("floating") unless the perpetrator is under 18 years of age. After the Ark's life support systems are found to be critically failing, one hundred juvenile prisoners are declared "expendable" and sent to the surface in a last ditch attempt to determine if Earth is habitable again. The teens arrive on a beautiful planet they've only seen from space. Confronting the dangers of this rugged new world, they struggle to form a tentative community. Alone Up There

Film
by Sean Patrick Shaul (Documentary and Comedy)
Sound department The stand-up comedian is a special breed, both an artist and an artisan. They work by painstakingly developing a persona, scripting and editing an act, and revising it on the spot to suit the energy of a given audience. If the audience does not grasp the countless hours crafting the routine, and the empathic micro-calculations, then the act was a success... well, as long as it was funny. Alone Up There explores contemporary stand-up with a focus on the performer. Using interviews with several professional comedians and experts we will ask the questions: 'What kind of person can do stand-up?' and 'What kind of person would want to?' This film is a first-hand journey through one of the toughest jobs in the entertainment industry. Written by Anonymous
