Jeremy Ballard has an extensive history as both a DJ and a promoter in the Drum & Bass scene in Denver, Colorado. He has traveled and performed at many events nationally in cities that include Los Angeles, Dallas, Phoenix, and Miami. Jeremy studied at Metropolitan State College of Denver, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Video Production with a Minor in Interactive Media. He has experience in business having spent many years in retail management in the skate and snowboard industry. As a promoter and DJ in the Drum & Bass / Jungle scene, Jeremy has been a part of many events in many capacities. Starting in 2000, he began his career in Drum & Bass at a Denver staple, Herb's Hideout. From there Jeremy has promoted local events like “Rockers Sound” (2001) at the former Flying Dog Brewery and worked with SoCo Nightlife (2006 – 2008) promoting headlining events. He has hosted national tours that have featured artists like Goldie, LTJ Bukem, and Simon Bassline Smith at venues including the Fox Theater, Owsley's, Beta, Vinyl and SoCo Nightclubs. In 2007, Jeremy started record label and promotions company, Sonus Music. He has 7 artists to his local roster and regularly does events around the Denver Metro area. Jeremy started working as a videographer and graphics designer with his newest company, Denver After 9ine, which started in 2008 with Ryan Vermeeren and partnered in Jeremiah Reddick. “Denver After 9ine” is an entertainment television show that highlights Denver's underground music, art, & fashion scene. As part owner of the newly formed production company, Lesson Learned Productions, he hopes to continue with the film industry.
