Maureen O'Grady

After a career in healthcare and a wide range of volunteer work, I returned to the art of writing. As a student, I won multiple short story contests, but my career and motherhood left little for writing. I'm at a place now where I have both the time and motivation to write again.
Now I want to write stories with more depth and passion than I had in my student work, stories about women coming of age or moving beyond trauma, exploring the world and showing the world what they can do when given a chance.

My first feature script, Separate Journeys, did well in contests, ranking as a Finalist or Semi-Finalist, in several of them. It is currently being revised to better fit a post-pandemic world.
