My duty or more likely my existential purpose for the motion picture business is being an independent film director, staying far from the standard/conventional way of filmmaking (away from the studio system) and give my own impression of how art can unravel within cinematic boundaries. Master of film, Ingmar Bergman once stated, "film as dream, film as music. No art passes our conscience in the way film does, and goes directly to our feelings, deep down into the dark rooms of our souls." Film is an undeniable art form, which must give audiences the chance to view a "canvas" in scrutinizing thought, the chance to awe at the picture, providing the following elements; to be connected with the story; the texture and mise-en-scenic structure; the characters, objects and backdrop; to be shocked, astounded or bewildered. My work basically thrives in uncanny expressionism and experimental practices. For artists, myself included, we tend to reach a level in our minds of how to expose the extent of reflecting life; it is scoping of how William Shakespeare quoted, "all the world is a stage."
