Christian Holzknecht was born and raised in Austria. He started his career as the Photographer for the United Nations in near East, jumped out of Airplanes and was the first Photographer exhibiting “Nude Lesbian Images” in the turkish Part of Cyprus.
Although the Exhibition was a great success UN set him free for that and encouraged him to start his own Career. In 2002 Holzknecht published his first Book “Two Women” which won the “ Best Book Award” in the US.
Holzknecht, now living in Austria and Los Angeles, photographs mainly People and Characters for the Industrie. His work was published in Magazines like Playboy, GQ, Maxim and many others.
“We work like Rock'n'Roller and sometimes my clients have a hard time with that. They think we have too much fun on the set but we always get the good image and that’s the only thing that matters”.
