John Patrick Tomasek

I started out down this road many years ago acting, writing and Directing shorts and skits. Life got in the way and went the corporate route, managing businesses and eventually owning my own businesses.

At a turning point in my life, I decided to leave the corporate life behind and write and Produce feature films and continue the path which I started.

I’ve been a Writer/Director/Producer and founded Distant Star Pictures. Our mission is to write, develop and film many future films here in Chicago and bring other passionate projects to the big screen.

We’re now on our second feature film and always looking for great people!
