Trained in Theatre Design at Croydon College, London, Mona Kastell is a freelance costume designer. Creative with an eye for detail, Mona is fascinated by the human body and its representation. Mona uses her talents in Theatre, TV, Film, Circus, Dance, Physical Theatre and Street Arts.
Collaborations as designer include Mischief La Bas’s The Zoo; Conflux Surge’s launching street parade Conflux Maximus and Style Mile Extravaganza; Bright Night International’s Toybox and The Yetis; Apsara Arts’s BBC’s Big Dance and East Side Story which represented the UK at the International Children’s Festival of Performing Arts in New Delhi, India; Debasers Filums’s TiXeon (special effect make-up); Rickety Shack Films’ The Hunt 4 Gollum; Falkirk Youth Theatre’s Bugsy Malone (supervisor); Vision Mechanics’s Big Man Walking’s The Watcher; and Alexander Stevenson’s Eigg Lectures. Her work has been seen on Harry Hill TV burp; CBeebies Live Tour and Paul O’Grady TV show.
