C. Anthony Cole is the Founder and Executive /Artistic Director of the CAC Repertory Dance Theatre, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit dance organization. He has been a dance artist for over 20 years starting with childhood classes at Our Lady of Grace, the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts and the Boston Conservatory of Music, Dance, and Theater.
C. Anthony has produced and directed Collaborations Dance concerts, and has been a Guest Choreographer and Teacher at SDSCPA since 1993. He has created work for local theater companies Common Ground Theater, Black Storytellers of San Diego and the Ira Aldridge Repertory Players.
Mr. Cole has worked as a consultant for start-up dance companies and has produced, stage managed and directed for Unity Dance Ensemble, LaDiego Dance Theater, The Garage Project and the Foster-King Dance Collection. He was the Co-Director and Choreographer of the Gospel Messiah, 2006- 2009. He has had the privilege of training dancers who have gone on to attend University of the Arts, Ailey- Fordham and University of California, Irvine. C. Anthony received his B.S. in Human Services from the University of Phoenix and a MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College.
