About Stef

Stef is an award nominee set-designer for theatre, film & events. As a creative professional he creates enriching experiences for public events! By designing stories, live-events, exhibitions and more both online and offline.

Stef is always looking for innovative ways to connect people, art and technology and with that quest. He is the expert to visualize stories, enrich visitor experience' and reinvent your creative project. With a background in architecture, urban design and teachings from Lenn Aartzen regarding set and costume design, each project will be handled with passion, professionalism and attention to detail. His company HB Staging was founded in 2017 and has realized various projects in 2021 like set designs for Dance Valley dancefestival, scenic piece as part of a book launch & PR event on the beach of Zandvoort, set pieces and props for multiple theater plays and two musicals. Together with Lucas van der Hut & Frank Geisink, Stef is working on a new, Dutch musical called 'Boven Rooms' - a mental roadtrip (premiere 2023).
