Mr. Mathews has appeared in several feature films, movie shorts and TV series including: The Chosen Few (2000) where he played the lead role of Master John Roper, a misguided cult
leader. The film recently won an Award of Excellence at the Berkeley Film Festival; The Young and the Restless (2003); Snitch (2002), a new Pilot Series for the FX channel where
Mr. Mathews plays opposite Robert Patrick as a member of the FBI; The Court starring Sally Fields and Dianne Carroll and Family Law. Mr. Mathews has worked with such directors and actors as Allan Miller, Ralph Waite (The Waltons. etc.) Chad Ahrendt (Laurence Mark Productions,) Steve Easton (Field of Dreams, ConAir), Robert Patrick (X-Files, Terminator II, etc.), Patrick Stewart (Star Trek, Moby Dick, etc.) and Byrne Offut (Charles in Charge.) Most recently, Mr. Mathews has been taking on-camera classes with Daphne Kirby.
