Jonathan was born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago before moving to the U.S. Being born in the West Indies, he strives for representation in film. He is an award winning screenwriter and filmmaker. His feature script, “Same Love,” was an award winner at the 2022 Austin Under the Stars festival & second rounder at the 2022 Austin Film Festival. He wrote & directed several short films showcasing LGBTQ stories, mental health and psychological trauma.
