I write screenplays, stage plays, novels and memoirs.
I also work as a ghostwriter for those who need help writing a novel, a memoir or a screenplay.
My new screenplay -- CHRISTMAS ON MAVIS STREET -- is comic and nostalgic movie about Catholic school, childhood and family in the 1950s—following poor little Ray Bellini as he pines after the most beautiful girl in the sixth grade, determined to kiss her by Christmas.
I have published six novels—Dancing Naked with the Devil, Marvin Piersoll, Electra 225, The Providence, Christmas on Mavis Street and It's What We Do.
I have also published three memoirs—Football, Bella in America and Nuns!
I have had 18 productions of 11 full-length plays—four of them off-off-Broadway; and others in Massachusetts, upstate New York and Los Angeles.
I grew up in Rhode Island; I studied writing at Brown University—where I earned a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Creative Writing/Playwrighting.
I now live in Canton, Massachusetts.
Unique traits: Lifelong fan of the New York Football Giants -- trapped in Patriot country!
