Don't know what it's called, but there is a technology used by marketing researchers to see where a person's eye falls on a page first. Could that be added to a digital book? And the frames of the comic book would be mini vids. And when the reader looked at one, it would play. When the eyes moved to the next frame, that would play, and so on. Well, I really did get past #1. The deaf idea sounds interesting. I watch a couple or more silent movies per month. I like them but it doesn't seem they would be very popular - EXCEPT as educational tools! People who want to work with the deaf, persons with a deaf family member, etc. OR don't say the purpose up front. Surprise, no sound. If scenes kept interest (I'm thinking mystery), viewers would be wondering "what's he doing", "why did she do that" and at the end, of course, they get their answers and learn the intended purpose. That just jumped up from my abyss. Thanks for tickling my synapses! Welcome!
