Scott Rennie

I am new to the world of screenwriting, and working on my first script. Slowly learning what is what in the world of film and screenwriting, always eager to make contacts and friends and receive advice/feedback.

I am Scottish but now live in rural Victoria in Australia. My past work has been in accountancy (degree and professional qualifications), policing (patrol and detective officer for 12 years) and wellness (yoga teacher/therapist and studio/brand manager).

My current script is a mini-series, The Storm, which is a period drama set in 18th Century Scotland in the aftermath of the battle of Culloden. I am deeply passionate about this project as it was inspired by my musical heroes since my teens, Big Country, and also involves (literary) justice for a murdered scapegoat of the time.

Other current interests are permaculture, beekeeping, mycology and meditation.
