Jason Botsford also known as Bots was born in Oberlin Ohio and grew up in the small town of Wellington Ohio. He is an only child and is son of Winona Botsford and William Botsford Jr. Jason's father, William Botsford Jr. passed away from a long battle with cancer on August 4th, 2003.
When growing up, Jason had interests in many things such as cars, the supernatural, the outdoors, and of course acting. While in high school he was active in marching, concert, jazz, and pep band. He played the trumpet. He was also active in Boy Scouts, Student Council, and French Club.
After High School, Jason pursued college at the University of Akron in Akron Ohio. There he studied Business Administration and for a short time was involved in a variety of sales positions before ending up becoming a Technical & Executive Recruiter.
In 2008 Jason decided to finally seriously pursue his career in acting. He then started taking acting classes instructed by Robert Purcell. He learned all of the fundamentals of acting and a lot of improvisation acting techniques. He has since then attended many seminars and other types of training including acting classes instructed by Shawn Michelle, one of Jason's best friends who has actually worked with him as an actor in many projects.
Since starting in the business, Jason has been very busy on working on acting projects. So far he has been in several major motion pictures, independent films, commercials, industrial training videos, promotional events, and web based comedy films.
He hopes to continue his acting career and become very successful in it. Acting is his true passion and his dream.
Jason resides in Medina Ohio with his significant other Jeff Pierce, but plans to eventually in the near future also have residences in Los Angeles California and New York City. He has 4 dogs, Juan (a Chihuahua), Ruger (an Olde English Bulldog), Dior(a Puggle), and Dolce(another Puggle). He also has a Peachfront Conure(type of parrot) named Skittles.
