About David

David is a screenwriter, playwright, and small-time producer. His feature-length screenplays include: Leon and Sybil E., Best Romantic Comedy Screenplay nominee at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival; The Show Might Go On, a quarterfinalist in American Zoetrope's and Creative Screenwriting magazine's screenwriting competitions, as well as a selection of IFP's Raw Word Readings; and Grand Cru, a Top 30 semifinalist in the Nicholl Fellowship Screenwriting Competition, a selection of DreamAgo's Plume and Pellicule screenwriting workshop and its Meet Your Match program, and a selection of the Oaxaca Film Festival's Global Script Challenge. Enrrico Wood, Curator of the Oaxaca Film Festival said of Grand Cru: "The script by David Kosh is one of the best reads I’ve had in a long time....The writing is rich in detail with an economy of words that keeps the pace flowing, the descriptions are evocative and the choice of words is delicate and exquisite. The narration, the pace, the transitions, the characters, everything clicks away with careful precision and passionate literacy."

David wrote and co-produced the short film Cold Tea, which screened at festivals around the world, including the Sedona International Film Festival, Hawaii's Big Island Film Festival, and Australia's Heart of Gold International Film Festival, where it won the Director's Choice Award. It appears on Official Best of Fest's “Love” DVD set.

Coming Clean is another short film David co-wrote and co-produced. It screened at festivals such as the Women International Film Festival in Islamabad, Pakistan, and the Long Island International Film Festival in New York.

David's plays include Différence, published by One Act Play Depot, and Temptation, published by Playscripts, Inc.

He has a BFA in Film Production and Dramatic Writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
