My name is Aarhon Silver and I am an independent filmmaker with a passion and a mission to bring inspiring and sacred stories to life via film. I have been involved in and studying drama and film making over the past 5 years. During that time I have written several short films and a feature film. I have been directing, working on small and large crews, and at present in pre-production for my short film, Wait Time.
I hope to not only create inspiring film productions, but also celebrate the act of creativity as a vital and natural part of being human and to acknowledge the transformative power of the arts by giving both professional, emerging and beginning artists the opportunity to create work that enriches both their lives and the lives of their audiences. I am also committed to working with and giving women, in particular, the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge via key roles in the production process.
I am specifically interested in character-based screenwriting. My genre interests include sci fi, drama, romcom and subject matter that delves into the addiction, sexuality/gender, recovery and creative processes.
Wait Time Drama Poppy creates a fantasy life to survive adolescence and gets stuck in patterns of disassociation and emotional immaturity.
