Kristelle Monterrosa is a US born, french-salvadorean actress and flamenco dancer. Her unconventional upbringing and cosmopolitan background forged a multifaceted artistic core. She is currently performing at the Ruskin Group Theatre in the World Premiere of Sideways the Play. Kristelle has performed at venues such as The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Nokia Theater at LA Live with Mario Reyes of the Gipsy Kings and she's starred in several award winning short films. Performing live, competing and choreographing since childhood, her 4 years of conservatory training (Theatre) in Buenos Aires, led her to deeper investigations of space and rhythm. At age 22 she created the dance company "Compania Mar de Lagrimas" with her colleague Sabrina Silva. Their contemporary dance and tango play Medea Tango - which she produced and co-directed - is now touring South America, and received the Mecenazgo award as National Patrimony of Argentina. * Kristelle's choreography work was acknowledged in Stage Scene LA's 2012 Scenie Awards as she won "Best Choreography".
