About Lynn

Lynn Downey is an actor, writer/director/producer, mindset coach, and collaboration junkie!

Acting credits include The Rookie, Deputy, S.W.A.T, Henry Danger, & feature Faith Ba$ed, featuring Jason Alexander, Margaret Cho, and Lance Reddick. She’s been in 15+ national commercials including the fan favorite Geico spot as a pioneer woman, shouting, “Jesse?!” She narrated the audiobook, “The Threshing” by Tim Grahl.

Lynn adapted and starred in Shauna Niequist’s best selling memoir Cold Tangerines: The Play with Little Candle Productions. The show enjoyed an extended run of its 2014 world premiere, received an “Encore Producer’s Award” at 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and has toured Southern California. She co-created and stars in the Life Group, which won the 2018 IndieBOOM Festival Best Comedy Award, and she co-created and starred in short film Things That Birds Say.

She developed and directed Brandon Alter’s cabaret Brandonna Summer: Healing Through Living and the workshop of Ben Boquist new musical Monks + Witches. She also writes and directs for Rock Your Reel.

In 2020 she launched Work of Art Coaching, which empowers artists to create the relationship of their dreams with the business, their craft, and themselves.
