Simon Kay

Simon is a Director, Writer and Producer based in Edinburgh he established Dark Brood Pictures in 2018 along with the production of their first feature Shadowland.

The overall goal of our production company is to create a collective akin to that of the Hammer horror family of the seventies and eighties, albeit self contained, productive and creative, a company that produces genre films of a high level uniquely, and one which utilizes the abundance of local talent Scotland has to offer while forming those same bonds worldwide.
