About Amazing

My mandate for my life and for my writing is to Inspire, Analyze and Transform. I do this in my writing by creating Beautiful, Fun, Sad, and Strange original outside-the-box stories.

I have written, directed, and produced over a dozen short films, a feature film, a documentary, and a music video.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Chapman University in Performance Media with minors in Anthropology, Writing, and Producing.

I was the first woman at the University of La Verne to graduate with honors from their graduate school.

I am a self-taught OJT multi-award-winning director.

I have taken more than fifty classes at local California schools in all phases of the entertainment industry including marketing, branding, effective storytelling, etc.

All the films I wrote, directed, and produced won awards and/or were accepted into festivals

I was a screener for the Newport Beach Film Festival, Beverly Hills Film Festival, and the Holly Shorts Film Festival for several years.

I was an acting coach, improvisation coach, and manager. as well as an amazing set photographer.

I have experience in all phases of production including casting, editing, and music supervisor

I have worked both in front and behind the camera including as the Director of Photography.

I have a bionic ear for musicality, an eagle eye for natural talent, and a creative visionary for original outside-the-box programs.

My first feature film along with all my short films picked up distribution.

I became a published author twice before I was sixteen years old.

I have lived a life most people can not even fathom

All the characters I create and write about I have met.

I write about people's frustrations and the stories they keep hidden in the depths of their core because of the fear and or/ backlash they may encounter if anyone finds out who they really are!

I have my own unique directing style which puts talent at ease.

I used to perform stand-up comedy.

I rarely put ages, sex, gender, or race in my scripts unless it is necessary to the story.

First-hand experience is at the forefront of my writing.

All my films have had diverse casts and crews.

I am addicted to the synergy of the on-set experience.

I was a first responder in the military where I saved many lives pulling people from P-3 planes that came in hot or crashed on the tarmac.

When I am not writing I am still a first responder helping both people and animals stay alive.

Unique traits: I believe in inclusivity, developing characters, morals, originality, way outside the box, creativity, and being genuine, authentic with lots of vulnerability mixed in.
