About Michaud

Michaud Savage is a composer, songwriter, and performer. He is based in Los Angeles and was born and raised in the Seattle area. Michaud’s work in music has involved performance for guitar and voice, compositions for mixed ensembles, prepared piano, analog and digital electronics, interactive sound sculptures, and event happen-making. Musical study has emphasized focus on jazz, tango, classical, contemporary classical, film music, trance practices, ecstatic singing in North and South America, and overtone singing. Compositional attention is currently aimed towards a forth-coming EP expected to be released in 2012. He has studied and performed throughout the United States, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina.
