In 2012, while living at the L.A. LGBT Center's homeless youth shelter and with the help of Outset: The Young Filmmakers Program, Steven produced the award-winning lesbian short film, “The First Date”. In 2015, he premiered a short film he wrote, produced, and directed at the Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center. He has been a quarter-finalist for Big Break and Stage 32's screenwriting competition, and ScreenCraft's Screenwriting Fellowship. He also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Video Production. Currently, he is working on a first draft of his third feature script and getting his second feature script turned into a movie.
