About Jamila

Comedic screenwriter, performer, filmmaker, and stop motion animator who drinks way too much coffee while laughing with my daughter every day. Recipient of the NBC & HRFS Emerging Voices Scholarship 2020-2021 and currently a student at Harold Ramis Film School – The Second City Chicago, where I am learning all aspects of the film industry in front of and behind the camera. I am also the winner of multiple awards on the indie film circuit for screenwriting. I enjoy creating magical worlds that make you laugh, cry, and ask, “How did you think of that?”
