About Veranika

Veranika Bandarovich is a MA graduate in Film Directing (with Merit) - University of Edinburgh (2020), and a BA graduate in Film and Tv Directing (Hons.) - Belarusian Academy of Arts (2012).
In 2018 - 2019 Veranika took a documentary film making course at the Workshop of Social Filmmaking. In 2019 Veranika’s independent film project “Vauchok. Overcoming.” was one of the winners of the pitching at the IFF "Listapad".
The member of the Talents Nest Cohort 2019: Talents Nest initiative - Meeting Point – Vilnius (part of the film festival "Kino Pavasaris").
At the national film studio “Belarusfilm” Veranika made a documentary about search-and-rescue team “People are needed”, part of the film almanac “In touch”. Official Selection: IFF Northern Lights: Nordic-Baltic Film Festival in Belarus.
In 2012, while working at the “Workshop of Bokun” Veranika made a
film “Gypsy’s destiny. To remain itself” (part of the project “Countdown”). Official Selection: The festival of one project “Countdown”.
Veranika’s diploma film “Neither silver nor gold” that she made for Belarusian Association of Assistance to Children and Young People with Disabilities was officially selected by the VIII Republican Festival of Belarusian Films in Brest. In 2011, her student film “Dej and Jus” was officially selected by One Short Film Fest. 2019/2020 Chevening Scholar. 2020 CGI U Commitment Maker. Passionate about social impact.
