Jennifer Plotzke is an award winning actress and producer with a career that includes both stage and screen. Her work has been seen on NBC, HBO, HBO Max, PBS and Amazon Prime. She has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Indie Shorts Mag and Backstage. She is the Director of Mentoring and Partnerships for the Catalyst Story Institute, an Executive Producer at IFT Network and the founder of Poor Monster Productions. She is currently appearing on Season 9 of The Blacklist (NBC), Season 1 of The Sex Lives of College Girls (HBO Max), on PBS in Lost + Found and opposite Peter Friedman (Succession) and Geoffrey Owens (The Cosby Show) in the film Fizzle directed by Jeremiah Kipp (Slapface). In the past few years, she has also starred in My Dinner With Schwartzey, Perfect and the award winning series, Awkwardly, created by Nikki Coble. She received a Best Actress award for her role in The Red Lotus, a Best Actress nomination for her work in Uneffable, Fizzle was awarded Best Ensemble at both the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles and the Chain Film Festival in New York and My Dinner With Schwartzey recently won a Best Ensemble award at the French Independent Film Festival. She has worked on over twenty independent projects as a producer, including a tv pilot, How Am I Doing? which was nominated for Best Long Form Pilot at the Soho International Film Festival and was also selected to screen at the Academy Award Qualifying Hollyshorts Film Festival in Los Angeles. She has several projects in development for 2022 including a feature film thriller, Trinities.
