Good Morning, My name is James Rogy and I am an Actor/Writer/Director/Filmmaker in the Greater Philadelphia Area. I am the Co-Founder of Tri-Phecta films. I have an infectious positive attitude that has given me lots of success in roughly 20 plus independent films. I am SAG/AFTRA Eligible, but really want to focus on independent films at the moment. I am excited to meet everyone here and want to continue to build my network with all of you! I am known to bring a character to life on the screen and match the unique vision of the writer with all parts I am chosen for with films. It is a must that I feel the character and the script because I am not one to just accept a role and have graciously turned down many in the past. I need to ensure I feel the character 100 percent, so I can give it 100 percent. When I take on a role my number one goal is to leave an unforgettable mark in the minds of the viewers. I directed and wrote my first film called “The Friendship” in 2009. It received lots of attention in the Greater Philadelphia area. It was based off of two polar opposites, a homeless man and a pharmaceutical guy, who created a lasting bond with one another. I went on to direct and star in a film that was inspired by true life events “Seeking Retribution” that my partner wrote, We then moved on to our thriller “Tormented” (where I played the psychopathic bipolar “Luke” Pagan”. We followed up next with me picking up the pen on this one with “Multi-Taxiing” and I played the lead “Jack Whitaker” an impatient stock broker that only cares about what he thinks in important only to learn a deep lesson at the end I am currently working on another full feature my partner wrote called “Possession”. I play the lead “Niko Borelli” a ruthless don that will certainly leave a memorable impression on the audience. It may very well be the new scar face of this generation from what we are being told! The folks who have seen some of the raw footage and some of the scenes during filming absolutely love it. We have great plans with our films and god willing, we plan on being in a theater near you soon enough to share them with all of you. We added a third member to our company, who also shares the same passion and vision as we do for this industry. I can foresee a great presence and us being a house hold name in due time.
