Evan Rocha is many things. He is also not many things. But for the sake
of this bio, we will stick to what he is. Okay, maybe I’ll throw in one thing
he is not at the end.
He is a stand-up comedian that has been writing and performing comedy
for over 12 years. He has traveled all over the country and performed at
festivals such as Aspen Comedy Fest, North Carolina Comedy Arts
Festival, and The Fest. Through traveling and performing he has been able
to network and work with some of the industry’s top talents. Evan
produced and hosted a live comedy talk show in Brooklyn called “The
Talking Show with Evan Rocha” that raised money for charities.
Evan spent 10 years working in the digital music space as Sr. Director of
Industry Relations at Grooveshark. It was there that he created and
produced “Grooveshark Presents”, a video series of acoustic
performances by bands from all over the world, including Fitz and The
Tantrums, Sondre Lerche, Maritime, and many others. This series went on
to receive sponsorship from Pepsi and Taylor Guitars. He currently resides
in Los Angeles, CA with his wife and three kids.
Oh, and he is not a fan of ham.
