Growing up, I was always able to express myself most through my writing, but at an early age, I had always lacked the confidence to pursue my dreams of writing creatively. I was stuck in the thought pattern of not being ready or thinking I wasn't good enough to be heard. I slowly came to the realization that I was holding myself back. Slowly but surely, I began challenging myself to become a writer, pushing myself to tell stories I knew I could tell. I'm a writer through and through, and I'm no longer hiding my truth.
