Eric A. Zimmerman is a filmmaker - a director, writer, editor, videographer, and producer who has worked on a range of media including tv, movies, digital content, and award-winning music videos. He directed iconic music videos for Nine Inch Nails (Head Like A Hole, Down In It), Soundgarden (Rusty Cage, Jesus Christ Pose), Ministry (Burning Inside, Stigmata), Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society (In This River), and many other bands. He wrote and directed recent sci-fi movie “Caller ID Entity” (ITN) featuring Peter Greene, James Duval, and John Cho. He directed “The Benders Circuit” a documentary series on the electronic audiovisual performance scene in LA, now in post, planned for 2021 release. He has also edited long form concert programs, tv shows, and music videos for bands including Eminem, Ziggy Marley, and Snoop Dogg. He edited the rave culture documentary "Better Living Through Circuitry", Cuban music and culture documentary "Havana: Rhythm and Smoke", "Targeted: The Engineer of Death" about suicide bomber Yehiya Ayash, nominated for the IDA Awards, and BET docu-series "Keyshia Cole, The Way It Is” winner of the Prism Award. He has written scripts for projects in development, including “Dhalgren” adapted from sci-fi bestseller by legendary Afro-futurist author Samuel R. Delany, and “Explorer of the Unknown” based on explorer Douchan Gersi, director and producer of PBS “Explore” tv series featuring James Coburn.
