I'm a freelance writer and adult competitive figure skater. I love that sport and have decided to use it as my first writing adventure. It says to write what you know, and I'm pretty good at writing about skating. My best, so far, made cover of a west-end community paper, The Argonaut April 12, 2017 "Gender Illusionist." My 120 page feature that took 5 years to write is a completed biopic of a figure skater, full of Hollywood twists and turns, and with two Firsts. That should be a great sell. A series I'm working on will have a protagonist that will challenge that sport and her fraternal twin will act as both antagonist and protagonist. I'm already getting rushed by many to make it happen. Character profiles and ending are completed. On the literary side, I've just completed two of three manuscripts children books with a fourth that will be a children chapter book set in London. I'm a past area director in Toastmasters with two utube videos under my belt and about to shoot my first movie short regarding two women stuck in an elevator, 8min. Everything I do is a learning process and I'm diving in with both feet. No more being scared or intimidated. Someone said, write your worse screenplay, don't make it perfect, Do it badly and watch what happens. The stress is now replaced with enjoyment.
