Attended Awesomecon in Washington DC last week, and while getting an autograph from Sean Astin- he recognized me from the episode of Veep that aired a few weeks ago and was able to repeat exactly what Hugh Laurie said to me in the scene! How bizarre!

In rehearsal for an original musical production, written to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner in the War of 1812- playing Admiral George Cockburn, who burned Washington DC, kept Francis Scott Key on his ship while bombing Fort McHenry, then a year later was selected by the British to escort Napoleon to his exile on St Helena.

Any documentary film makers out there looking for a project? I currently work in a Barnes and Noble. Bookstore and one of our steady customers recently discovered my ties to the film and tv industry. He has recently published another in his series of history books, this one on the life of Eva Braun, using several hundred previously unpublished private photos to which he acquired the rights. He approached me to try to find someone who might be interested in making a Ken Burns style documentary, and possibly even a feature film based on his book. Is anyone out there interested in pursuing this further?
