Formally trained as a screenwriter from Columbia College, Chicago but have since veered into spoken word, poetry, and novels. I'm looking to connect with other writers, preferably within the Los Angeles area, but I am also a big fan of technology and communicating virtually. I am definitely looking to find my "tribe." I currently do not have a lot of cinema-inclined associates/friends, so I thought it would be a great idea to find like-minded, cinema-loving, artistic folk to share ideas, concepts, and whiskey. Currently working on film and television projects that fall into comedy and dark comedy genres tethered to cultural identity, LGBT activism, and female empowerment.
Favorite films include I ❤️ Huckabees (2004), Bagdad Cafe (1987), Poison (1991), Us (2019), Putney Swope (1969), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), and Magnolia (1999).
